My Heart Will Stay

We've run from our hearts .....why do we run from love?,
When it is the only thing in this life We live for,
With my heart in my hands, I give it to you,
The odds could be stacked against me, but this is still what I'll do,
If I've asked for a heartbreak, so be it,
But it will never devalue the love that I'm seeing,
Because my eyes have always lived to see it,
And in my heart, it is the only thing worth giving,
Nothing else matters, the rest I'll throw away,
I will love you forever, my heart will stay.
