My Heart Will Mend
I have no one to call my own
as I sit here all alone
I wonder why after all these years
I am with no one I can call dear
I had someone for some time
but he's in heaven just not mine
I knew he was the prince of all
now I have nothing no one calls
I am so sad for very long
no one near me as I morn
I had a fear this love was true
but it all turned out so blue
this special man came in my life
even asked me to be his wife
but the dreams are in the pass
I move on cause nothing last
the days are long but I will mend
as the evening sets to end.
