My Heart Ran Out of Words

I watched you run from room to room like an outsider looking in,
You finally stopped running and sat down and cried, admitting to all that you did,
Your heart was so broken and scared, I didn't know what to do,
I couldn't leave your side, I silently sat and held hands with you,
My heart ran out of words, and all i could do was feel,
I woke up to my heart pounding out of my chest, this dream...it felt so real.
