my heart lies with yours

-For anyone who has lost someone they loved

My heart lies with yours,
Wherever that is.
My feet remain firmly upon the ground,
But yours: they touch the clouds.
You see the stars
Whilst I just see the black expanse of Space:
My soul lies with yours
But your body lies somewhere in a ditch,
Whereas my body is still free
To wander the Earth.
