My Heart Is Happy
My heart is happy today
It's shining bright I must say
I've come along way
since Jesus came that day
my poetry is a gift from God
I write from the heart
these hidden words were
always there from the start
Thank you Jesus for your light
I will spread it with all my might
as I write what you say
and lift up the weak this day
