My Heart Is Bleeding

My heart is bleeding
I can’t believe this feeling
My eyes are terrified
And my ears are blocked
By hearing the stories
Depicting their suffering
On their rough premises

My heart is bleeding
My legs are wobbling
My body has snowed
This is too heavy
I’m hurt teenagers are wedding
They are denied rights
The moon will not shine

My heart is bleeding
It is cold learning
The day does not wake
Until the morning has come
Women and girls can’t read nor write
They are confined to the kitchen
It breaks my heart.
