My Heart is a Secret Garden Contest
Hosted by Silent One ~ 5/17/26
It unfolded in a dream... when in a wistful voice he whispered my name and I heard enchanting echoes near nape and ear. In silvered stardust reveries, he slowly came to me. With a tender touch of affection, I felt no fear and asked him to sit with me beneath a willow tree. We planted a secret garden deep inside my heart and built a wall around it to keep everything out except glimmers of starlight in my beloved's eyes and doves singing love songs that left no doubt that dew on roses are the tears a halcyon heart cries. Garbed in aubergine, the shade of passion flowers, his breath is the lingering fragrance of lavender scent. His kisses treaclier than the taste of ambrosial nectar. His dulcet voice beseeching, as if asking for my consent. In my heart's secret garden dwells my seductive specter. From saffron shadows he often emerges unannounced. In fading sunlight, I yield to him when love transcends inside these garden walls without question or measure for the fruitful flowering of our love weaves and wends its way along a trellised path that promises pure pleasure. No thorns exist within the gates of this glorious garden. There are never wilted or withered petals for time to claim. Flowers are budding and blooming in my heart, endlessly with the paramour who holds the key; a face without a name, the one invited inside my garden's gate to set my heart free.
