My Heart is a Secret Garden Poetry Contest

My Heart is a Secret Garden

My heart is a secret garden that only I beget to roam For I’m guardian of the code etched on my mind, and mine alone. The garden's my divine haven a special supreme place to be When I'm in need of some me time to rid troubled thoughts of debris. Birdsong, bees buzz, breaks the silence with supreme musicality The fine tweeting and the buzzing bringing peace restored unto me. A unique perfume of roses lavender, hyacinth of blue All are my soul's restoration that brings me back, sat here with you.

Thank you Silent One, I’m delighted with the placement in your contest. Funny you said that ‘like knitting a new cardigan’ I knit all the time, since I was seven years old… Beryl

Every line has its own meaning, "that only I beget to roam" a place you alone reside. "garden's my divine" as the Holy Spirit reigns to for you to come for peace.. "peace restored" with his Word.. "soul's restoration" only you sometimes can bring order. Enjoyed reading. Hope you are doing well.
