My Heart Is a Bell

There is a holy man with
A heart like a bell
That rings out loud
Through the air,
Like a ship with a sail
Made of cast iron and steel
Listen to the sound everywhere
Lord, my heart is a bell

I like this whole thing except the line about the sail which I think is a mixed metaphor, but the subject is well done.

Interesting. Is it like the liberty bell or just a plain one. Keep writing. Sara
