My Heart If It Stopped

If it stopped
Would you care?
Look into my eyes and tell the truth
A heart broken
Put under so much pain
Not even the meds help
The longer it beats for you
The more the pain
Never even skipping beats
So tell me
If it stopped
Would you care?
Here’s the chance for you to tell the truth
A heart more then just broken
Though I wouldn’t even know if you would care
If it stopped
For once I am stronger then my own heart
I see only enough beauty for the right guy
But it’s not you
So tell me
Would you care?
If it stopped
These scars don’t even mean a thing
I just thought it would ease some of the pain
Be honest
Tell me
If it stopped
Would you care?
Tell the truth
Please
I deserve to know
