My Heart Hurts
No words are spoken
Only tears I've wept
Only sorrow in my heart
Where love's secrets are kept
Darkness lingers even when it is light
Through the emptiness and pain
I seek the will to fight
The cold, hard truth runs through my veins
Your love hasn't left this heart of mine
I still love you after all this time
There's really no explanation
For this heart full of frustration
Empty rooms are cold and lonely
My heart still longs for you only
As the days go by
There's still the question of "why"?
The pain gets tough
Life gets rough
I close my eyes
My heart still cries
