My Heart Escapes
Woe, to touch the winter’s soul
The depths of slumber
Once filled whole
My heart it trembles at the thought
That it could be ensnared
Assuming then my true control
My might and virtue
I now extol
My heart awakens knowing well
Its life has just been spared
