Hi Charmaine! first thought that hits me is the extreme originality of the structure of this branial-poem...like dreamy alliteration without needing to repeat letter repetition! it kind of hypnotizes the reader into understanding by repetition, which this complex equation requires,..... very cool poem!!! and thanks for comments on "dreamtime" you nailed the understanding..as usual!!! Love, Jim

Terrific and provoking poem....sometimes we need to choose....and sometimes, if we are truly lucky....the choice can let us have both.

a great poem, i would pick both as when we give our heart to God he then fills us with his Holy Spirit and he takes care of our heart and our soul, if it was a choice between our heart or mind i would pick my heart, as our mind can not always make the right choices but our heart always makes the right choice, because God lives there, I love this poem, God bless you from diane

It's sad to have to make such a choice, Charmaine. It's hard to live without either a heart or soul. You really give us food for thought. I would like to think my soul would prevail, but it's difficult to live with a tormented heart. And while the heart can give us so much pain, the soul is an everlasting connection to God's grace. Bless you for making us examine both our hearts and souls. Love, Carolyn
