My Heart

you have my heart is it too heavy to carry?
does it drag you down...make you weary?
can you carry it longer or is it too much?
can you carry it longer or is it too much?

is it a burden, does it weigh you down?
does it wipe away your smile making you frown?
does it speak to you or not make a sound?
does it cause you to flail, make you think you'll drown?

it is light, does it make you want to sing?
fill you with laughter and thoughts of good things?
does it make you feel like your own now has wings?
do you want to keep it and all that it brings?
