My Heart

Last week, I went out with some friends Danced every dance with another man Drank far too much, I must confess Thought I could fool myself, I guess Into believing I am over you But my heart knows the truth My heart is not over you My heart can’t seem to forget Not my heart, not yet Called up one of my old boyfriends Asked him to come by to see me and then Remembered how much I still miss you Didn’t want him to see me this blue Why can’t I get over you Cause my heart knows the truth My heart is not over you My heart can’t seem to forget Not my heart, not yet Got new makeup and my hair done Planned to go out and have some fun Put on that red dress and thought of you Still hurts even though we are through Don’t guess I will ever get over you Cause my heart knows the truth My heart is not over you My heart can’t seem to forget Not my heart, not yet
