My Heart
My heart.......Heavy
confused
to say the least
intrigued
at the very best
all the while
falling
eternally down, into a well of insanity
clearly aware
but
unabashed of fault
and
for the life of me
cannot understand why?
Im crazy in love with you
mistreating me......keeping me
captive your slave.
My heart......Hurts
It cannot take anymore of your cruel, midday beatings
in which you seem to enjoy
noticably
giving me
Although not in the physical sense but
stictly metaphoricaly
which seems worse, but also safe
and I know that you can see me
although i feel small and alone
My heart....... Torn
like the pictures I cut out of magizines
while sitting cross-legged at 3am
making a collage of love for you
and all the while I am seaching for the glue
needed
to fasten together the detached peices of my soul
My Heart......Broken
SHATTERED
like that lamp you knocked over in the heat of passion
on one of our erotic rendevous
(we have had many)
Broken yet still intact
and do you know that it still hurts
to breathe
without you
My heart.........Gone
took off
in the shoes you have been stepping on it with
all the while you stood in the dust of my demise
watching me grow void and empty
and for the life of me
I cannot understand
why you said that I was crazy
when it was you
who wouldn't
love me back
