My Harlot's Head
If I closed my eyes forever
Would she even notice?
With her hypnotizing, evil gaze
I wished it started again
Diluted and shredded my heart lays to rest
Each day brings a veil of love
Each day I die a little more
Come now girl and hold my hand
I promise you safety
Sanctioned in the deepest regrets
It never should have ended
Can you keep me sane?
With these thought I write to you
About a love I once had
I wait until you come back
But you won't let me crawl back
Inside the shell you left me
I'll lie here wondering
Disturbing dead words from your severred head
Awkward touches from your cold, stiff hands
And only the blood from you, Harlot, can I savor
You've deadened me
