My Happily Ever After

diving into your hazel eyes
I saw little versions of myself
They laughed, wanting you for a daddy
Impatient little imps!
We had just met!

I kept this omnipotence to myself,
 Prophetic? Presumptuous? Precognition?
There was a liveliness and enthusiastic yearning
I had fallen into a new world
Sunlight scorched my heart

I saw a warrior
Prince charming in wonderland
I kept soul secret to myself
not wanting to ruin anything
Knowing this time it was going to be happily forever after
