My Guy
Yes, my guy.
Like the song in my heart, that repeats,
when I listen ever so closely to things that matter.
Puts me first, when I feel last, every where else.
Lifts me up, when I have been walked upon, trodden into the dirt.
Flowers of multi colors, candy sweet and un-sweet, bitter and lasting.
We do not always think the same, the picture sometimes changes frame.
The pages are numbered wrong, but the song continues.
You make me laugh, and know me better than I know myself.
You help me to keep priorities in order.
Super heroes come and go,
real men, they stay…
Forever!
