My Guiding Light

Never in my life before
Until this day
Has there been one in which I truly adore
Due to this I don't know what to say
Never again will there be
One I love as much as you
You opened my eyes, so now I can see
That even the stars are lesser than you
Never before have I felt this way
For someone near as bright
You took me in and gave me shelter for my heart was a stray
You taught me how to love you are my guiding light
Nothing, not even time
Can bring us apart
If I'm with you, I need nothing more, not even a dime
You are mine; you filled the hole in my heart
For that what is mine you can call your own
No matter how far I roam
I know I will never be alone
Because you're my guiding light and you always lead me home.
