My Guardian Angel

By my side
through hardship and pain,
you are my
guardian
Angel, assigned the keys to
both my heart and soul.

A Godsend:
you watch over me
with love and
tenderness:
offering hope and comfort
in my times of need.

An Angel;
that gently guides me
to the truth,
patiently;
and never condones a lie
to gain my favor.

I have faith,
and need not pretend
to believe:
for the Lord
sent my guardian Angel;
to look after me.
