My Greatest Love

Even the most beautiful creatures can fade into the dark, Enveloped in grief of a death of silence and stillness, Silence smothered the flames into ash, It was a burial that destroyed his very soul, A funeral procession with such drama, I walk in the hallways of my mind to recreate it, Imagination and desire still has small peaks, Unspoken words watered the flames, I tried to hang on as long as I could, One memory burns brighter then the rest, Which will take me places at times, She will always be my greatest love.
