My Greatest Fear

My greatest fear

If it was up to me, we wouldn't have anything as "night"
I sometimes wish I was tall or owned a jet.
You can call me crazy,
but I do have a dream that one day
I would just fly high up to the sky
And hold the sun to standstill
Put stones on front and back of the sun
Making sure that it doesn't move
When I'm done I'd fly down here and have peaceful sleeps.
I always find myself shaking whenever the sunsets
The thought of dark always leaves my body shivering with fear
I am scared of sleeping in a dark room
I am scared of all the nightmares I receive when I close my eyes.
Hence I don't switch my lights off.

Dark is my greatest fear...

Darkness indeed is scary because all the dark things we imagine lurk in the shadows... Congrats Bukiwe, for your WIN in the contest!! ;-)

As Colleridge said ~night is cold but not dark (Christabel). The moon of poets gives hope of love> a lasting love be your verses.
