My Grandpa's Tool Bench

My grandpa has a tool bench
With gadgets, tools and such
Shiny metal objects
And things I cannot touch

Lots of different wrenches
Hammers, saws and pliers
Putty knives and levels
Scissors, rope and wires

Many rows of little jars
Filled with nails and screws
Each one labeled perfectly
In case you need to choose

He says someday he’ll teach me
How to handle all this stuff
But right now I can only look
Until I’m tall enough.

How cute! And how well you describe the 'tool look' my man has and Father had. This is perfect for children, absolutely adorable, and for me, as an adult, it is another perfect gem of a joy to read! All the best ... CayCay

Kitty, my grandfather used to have a tool bench just like this but that was long ago. Thank you for the memories. John
