When she giggles, with joy in her eyes, the smile radiates the happiness so hard to find, The beautiful unknown words she utters so cheerfully, Rings the bell in my heart with the ever-ringing sweet melody. The smiles on the face with giggle knows no fear, Hold her hands and forget all the woes which were so near, With her eyes glowing with cheer, find the peace and happiness which are so dear. Hi Jay, You penned a well-written entry for the contest. I don't have any grandkids yet, however, I remember when my kids were young, and being in their presence and looking at their adorable smiles, and hearing their cute giggles, had a way of melting my heart.
