My Goodbye

I remember
Years ago
I had a whole life to live
Today I lay upon my bed
With no more life to give
I find a smile
The years were kind
I shed a tear
Because I can't rewind
So many memories
Fill my mind
My eyes will close
One last time
I will leave
This life behind
Now it's time
I must say goodbye
It's my turn to die
