My Golden Sun
I worship you
Adore you
I love you
I embrace in your warmth
Look forward to seeing you each day
Your golden glow
Keeping me alive
I wait for you each morning
Sometimes you don’t appear
You hide behind clouds
But I know you’re there
When you do
I lay before you
Basking in your rays
At the end of each day
I hate to wave goodbye
As you are replaced by the moon
I feel the coldness of your absence
Nights are impersonal
A lonely survival
Only living for your return
My skin thrives on your existence
My body needs you
Craves the nourishment
The vitamin D you expel
My legal high, my fix, my addiction
My golden sun
