My Goddess My Queen

A golden goddess atop the mountain, Looking down with a loving gaze. I have the desire to see her again, To bask in her caring ways. No breaks from the hardships, She’s carried me through. Her demeanor rarely slips, Oh how I look up to you. I’d give anything for a chance to kiss those lips, There’s nothing I wouldn’t do. Though she may feel alone at times, I’m there throughout it all. Dedicating my heart through my rhymes, I’ll catch her, no matter the fall. She is stubborn and strong hearted, still. I’ve never seen a tragedy break her will. So I envy you, my goddess, my queen. For I know your struggles, and what you’ve seen. Take my hand, and let us walk through the light. Take my hand, and kiss me goodnight. For my goddess, you sit high and above, Leaving me below to reminisce of our love.
