My God, Thank You That You Want Me To Walk With You

August 1 Scripture Meditations Based on Jeremiah 25-29 Key Verse – Jeremiah 26:4 … Thus saith the LORD; …hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you.
MY GOD, THANK YOU THAT YOU WANT ME TO WALK WITH YOU Thank You that You want me to walk with You and Your truthfulness Midst my character-flaw around worldliness In being determined to strive for holiness During temptations’ destructiveness. Thank You that You want me to walk with You and Your might Midst my incapacity around weakness’ blight In being strengthened to pursue after faith-height During challenges’ difficulties and trials’ fight. Thank You that You want me to walk with You and Your enlightenment Midst my ignorance around foolishness’ sentiment In being driven to stay in wisdom-fulfillment During discipleship’s involvement. Thank You that You want me to walk with You and Your mercy Midst my anxieties around needfulness’ urgency In being upheld to enjoy contentment’s sufficiency During stewardship’s fervency. Thank You that You want me to walk with You and Your presence Midst my sinfulness around iniquity’s license In being warmed to delight in prayer-iridescence During worship and fellowship’s fluorescence. Thank You that You want me to walk with You and Your compassion Midst my disobedience around pride’s corruption In being humbled to abide in Your will of perfection During backsliding’s instigation. Thank You that You want me to walk with You and Your service-victory Midst my unwillingness around slothfulness’ injury In being exhorted to produce fruits in the ministry During revival’s triumph in proclaiming Gospel’s glory against hell’s fury.
