My God, Thank You For Withholding Not My Request

Thank You for withholding not my request by Your compassion As You love me with Your favour-provision And care for my welfare and condition Along Your kindness’ attention and satisfaction. Thank You for withholding not my request by Your mercy As You deliver me with Your gentleness-clemency And attend to my plea by Your presence-fervency Along Your fellowship’s warmth and communion’s persistency. Thank You for withholding not my request by Your approval As You uphold me with Your exhortation-revival And attend to my plea beyond economic survival Along Your reply’s service-urgency and spiritual upheaval. Thank You for withholding not my request by Your sovereignty As You control me with Your leadership-authority And direct my steps toward heavenly certainty Along Your kingdom’s fatherly deeds and Master-Creator-security.
