My God, Thank You For Standing With Me

November 29 Scripture Meditations Based on 2Timothy 3-4

Key Verse – 2Timothy 4:17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me…

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR STANDING WITH ME Thank You for standing with me against ungodliness With Your sanctifying holiness For my salvation’s bright righteousness Toward works of approved goodness. Thank You for standing with me against transgression With Your forgiving function For my redemption’s radiant manifestation Toward testimony of divine transformation. Thank You for standing with me against profanity With Your cleansing purity For my regeneration’s assured security Toward character of virtuous beauty. Thank You for standing with me against defilement With Your purging fulfillment For my justification’s clear settlement Toward devotion of deep commitment. Thank You for standing with me against criticism With Your perfecting optimism For my dedication’s biblical theism Toward faithfulness of fruitful spiritualism. Thank You for standing with me against pressure With Your pacifying measure For my conversion’s wealthy treasure Toward growth of joyful pleasure. Thank You for standing with me against inconvenience With Your comforting omniscience For my conviction’s scriptural influence Toward service of submissive obedience.

Wow, Beata, I felt transfixed while reading this ... the repetition really promotes a meditative quality. And we truly need to give thanks for helping us survive our modern, troubled culture. Thank you. Dave
