My God, Thank You For Setting Your Heart Upon Me

April 21 Scripture Meditations Based on Job 7-12 Key Verse – Job 7:17 What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him?
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR SETTING YOUR HEART UPON ME Thank You for setting Your heart upon me everyday With Your love of kindness’ ray Against bitterness so gray Away from worthless feelings whenever I pray. Thank You for setting Your heart upon me and my commitment With Your wisdom’s settlement Against foolishness’s indictment Away from wavering due to discontentment. Thank You for setting Your heart upon me along Your graciousness With Your goodness’ gentleness Against secularism’s assertiveness Away from filthiness and selfishness. Thank You for setting Your heart upon me despite my frailty With Your supremacy’s sovereignty Against humanism’s vanity Away from carnality’s iniquity that brings futility. Thank You for setting Your heart upon me to uphold my being With Your Word’s truth-saying Against worldliness’ denying Away from disobedience that results in grievous crying. Thank You for setting Your heart upon me midst corruption With Your salvation’s assurance and protection Against transgressions’ destruction Away from guilt’s oppression and persecutions’ tribulation.
