My God, Thank You For Remembering Me

Thank You for remembering me midst my trial As Your Word strengthens me against truth-denial Thus, driving me from temptation-dial And propelling my faith despite bitterness-betrayal. Thank You for remembering me midst my suffering As Your grace cherishes me with divine nurturing Thus, protecting me from evil torturing And guarding my sacrifices against selfish venturing. Thank You for remembering me midst my tribulation As Your mercy comforts me against persecution Thus, reviving me from hardship’s dysfunction And rejuvenating my commitment toward service-fruition. Thank You for remembering me midst my sorrow As Your compassion fortifies me to face hopeful tomorrow Thus, healing me from wounds inflicted by transgression-arrow And securing my future with joyous well-being marrow.
