My God, Thank You For Prospering Me

April 5 Scripture Meditations Based on 2Chronicles 26-29 Key Verse – 2Chronicles 26:5 And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR PROSPERING ME Thank You for prospering me when I seek You and Your presence Making my faith alive midst miracle-license To help me to do Your will despite slothfulness-prevalence So I will not sulk in bitterness’ silence. Thank You for prospering me when I rely on You and on Your power Making my testimony shine midst unrighteousness-tower To urge me to live in Your ways despite evil-sower So I will not play with holy pursuits’ blower. Thank You for prospering me when I trust You and Your provision Making my prayerfulness strong midst discouraging situation To prod me to believe Your Word despite perversion So I will not depart from Bible’s instruction. Thank You for prospering me when I obey You and Your precepts Making my conviction steadfast midst worldliness’ concepts To uphold me to support Your work despite selfishness that intercepts So I will not compromise with atheistic doctrine that an unbeliever accepts. Thank You for prospering me when I rest in You and in Your peacefulness Making my spirit revived midst soul’s calmness To move me to learn from Your wisdom despite ignorance-propped deceitfulness So I will not fall into the pit of vain foolishness. Thank You for prospering me when I stay in You and in Your purity Making my heart sanctified midst filthiness’ infirmity To enable me to abide in Your fellowship’s warmth despite coldness-tranquility So I will not flirt with alluring iniquity.
