My God, Thank You For Promising Me Reward That's Full

December 15 Scripture Meditations Based on 2John

Key Verse – 2John 1:8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR PROMISING ME REWARD THAT’S FULL Thank You for promising me reward that’s full of Your grace Indeed free from corruption-trace So abounding along Christian’s patient race To strengthen my faith through biblical brace. Thank You for promising me reward that’s full of Your peace Indeed far from sin-caused disease So refreshing against trial’s crease To soothe my soul with divine serene grease. Thank You for promising me reward that’s full of Your mercy Indeed emptied from wrath-deficiency So overflowing midst sorrows’ persistency To exhort my heart midst encouraging fervency. Thank You for promising me reward that’s full of Your blessing Indeed packed from poverty-cursing So nurturing by eternity’s pressing To nourish my spirituality with wisdom nursing. Thank You for promising me reward that’s full of Your victory Indeed triumphant from disobedience-fury So upholding despite transgressions’ misery To uplift my commitment toward heavenly territory. Thank You for promising me reward that’s full of Your delight Indeed pure from grief-blight So persevering upon joyfulness’ might To cheer up my devotion along prayerful meditation insight. Thank You for promising me reward that’s full of Your satisfaction Indeed bountiful from discontentment-reaction So rejuvenating by faithfulness’ fortification To revive my service fire with love-fueled motivation.
