My God, Thank You For Not Hiding From Me

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR NOT HIDING FROM ME

Thank You for not hiding from me Your compassion
Even though I have sinned against You in my wrong reaction…
Here am I repentant for my pride’s transgression
Please restore me along Your assured joy of salvation.

Thank You for not hiding from me Your mercy
Even though I have disobeyed You in my inconsistency…
Here am I humbled before You with sincere fervency
Please forgive me along Your ready clemency.

Thank You for not hiding from me Your chastisement
Even though I have deserved Your reproof and judgement…
Here am I needy of Your gentle treatment
Please help me along Your protective correction-bestowment.

Thank You for not hiding from me Your will
Even though I have doubted that Your promises You fulfill…
Here am I illumined because of Calvary’s hill
Please calm me down me along Your redemption bill.

Thank You for not hiding from me Your goodness
Even though I have defied Your commands’ seriousness…
Here am I grateful for Your loving kindness
Please uphold me along Your patient graciousness.

Thank You for not hiding from me Your counsel
Even though I have neglected to exercise spiritual muscle…
Here am I willing to learn from truth’s whole, not just parcel
Please direct me along Your teaching epistle.

Thank You for not hiding from me Your ways
Even though I have felt discouraged during challenging days…
Here am I responsive to Your enlightenment-rays
Please guide me along Your righteous pace.
