My God, Thank You For Making Me Obey Your Voice

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME OBEY YOUR VOICE Thank You for making me obey Your voice of sovereignty That leads me toward eternal journey’s triumphant finality Along Your provided rest from burden’s enormity In working with my tasks for You, driven by sincerity. Thank You for making me obey Your voice of compassionate command That moves me toward diligent sacrifice by Your strong hand Along Your prodding drive to reach the promised land In conquering my anguish caused by pride’s cruel demand. Thank You for making me obey Your voice of redemption That brings me toward soulwinning-function Along Your appointed call to fulfill Your great commission In doing my part for Your mission’s realization. Thank You for making me obey Your voice of lordship That sends me toward delights of earnest worship Along Your offered friendship and sweet fellowship In devoting my all to You while exercising faithful stewardship. Thank You for making me obey Your voice of guidance That directs me toward service-blessings’ abundance Along Your shown miracles revealing mystery-riddance In practicing my trust in You above doubt-avoidance. Thank You for making me obey Your voice of revival That urges me toward meeting You in Your presence-arrival Along Your gracious mercy with Your loving kindness’ interval In submitting my heart to Your molding’s upheaval.
