My God, Thank You For Making a Hedge Around Me

April 20 Scripture Meditations Based on Job 1-6 Key Verse – Job 1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR MAKING A HEDGE AROUND ME Thank You for making a hedge around me and my soul Along Your sovereignty’s pole Upon Your supreme authority’s role… Thus, I’m settled toward Your heavenly goal. Thank You for making a hedge around me and my heart Along Your compassion right from the start Upon Your loving kindness that does not depart… Thus, I’m protected from hatred-bitterness’ dart. Thank You for making a hedge around me and my spirit Along Your salvation far from hell’s destruction-pit Upon Your eternal life’s record-writ declaring me divinely fit… Thus, I’m assured by Your truth’s wit against everlasting split. Thank You for making a hedge around me and my mind Along Your Word where my well-being is designed Upon Your immutability securing my commitment-bind… Thus, I’m guarded against doubts and folly causing me to be fatally blind. Thank You for making a hedge around me and my conviction Along Your standard for my decision’s direction Upon Your precepts’ instruction… Thus, I’m guided in my service-function. Thank You for making a hedge around me and my faith-productiveness Along Your power of miracles’ blessedness Upon Your ways full of impossibilities’ worthiness… Thus, I’m geared for stewardship-effectiveness.
