MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR LOVING ME Thank You for loving me a sinner, saved by Your grace Who’s worthy of hell with wrath’s trace… Yet, You rescued me through Your heart’s embrace For me to esteem You along my grateful praise. Thank You for loving me a sinner, sanctified by Your goodness Who’s condemned for hell’s perilousness… Yet, You cleansed me through Your redemption’s holiness For me to please You along my imputed righteousness. Thank You for loving me a seeker, satisfied by Your generosity Who’s bound to suffer due to iniquities’ penalty… Yet, You reached down to me through Your sacrifices’ humility For me to follow You along my enlightened spirituality. Thank You for loving me a student, steadfast by Your instruction Who’s ignorant along folly’s destruction and deception… Yet, You keep teaching me to learn from Your Word of admonition For me to enjoy discipleship in fulfilling great commission. Thank You for loving me a steward, secured by Your governing Who’s barren because of transgressions’ performing… Yet, You forgave me through Your mercy’s prevailing For me to work for You along my faithful labouring. Thank You for loving me a servant, settled by Your greatness-grant Who’s slothful aside from being arrogant… Yet, You moved me through Your commands’ voice that’s pleasant For me to submit to You along partnership-covenant. Thank You for loving me a soldier, strengthened by Your goal Who’s discouraged against foes’ pole… Yet, You empowered me through Your call’s role For me to fight for You along my revived soul. Thank You for loving me a sower, supplied by Your Gospel seed Who’s lost midst religiosity’s need… Yet, You found me through Your compassion’s deed For me to testify for along my heavenly creed.
