My God, Thank You For Loving Me

August 20 Scripture Meditations Based on Hosea 11-14 Key Verse – Hosea 11:1 When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR LOVING ME Thank You for loving me, calling me Your child Fully adopting me though sin-defiled While transforming my heart from being earthly-wild… Now, I’m bound toward heaven, divinely-styled. Thank You for loving me, drawing me by Your compassion Fully caring for me though stained with transgression While purifying my mind through Your sanctification… Now, I’m cleansed toward perfection, enjoying Your redemption. Thank You for loving me, ruling over me with Your faithfulness Fully guiding me though disobedient along stubbornness While drawing my soul near Your altar of prayerfulness… Now, I’m surrendered toward righteousness, submissive unto holiness. Thank You for loving me, helping me thru Your leading Fully controlling me though rebellious due to backsliding While disciplining my will against worldliness-standing… Now, I’m humbled toward genuine worship, grateful for Your life-building. Thank You for loving me, assuring me by Your security Fully upholding me though doubting due to uncertainty While teaching my spirit upon Your wisdom’s integrity… Now, I’m enlightened toward ministry where I can invest for eternity. Thank You for loving me, enabling me thru Your empowerment Fully training me though ignorant and filled with humanistic sentiment While subduing my arrogance of haughty predicament… Now, I’m revived toward fruitfulness marked by faith-advancement. Thank You for loving me, showering me Your blessings Fully providing for me though unfaithful midst grace-pressings While rebuking my selfishness that can bring cursings… Now, I’m grateful toward joyful living, overcoming lossings.
