January 17 Scripture Meditations Based on Exodus 9-12
Key Verse – Exodus 9:1 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME SERVE YOU
Thank You for letting me serve You by Your grace
Indeed rebuking my excuses of inability’s trace
Ever helping me with Your hand’s strengthening brace…
Thus, I can victoriously run along divine race.
Thank You for letting me serve You by Your raising
Indeed stretching my capacity for diligence-increasing
Ever upholding me in my obedient pressing…
Thus, I can persistently labour while Your name I’m praising.
Thank You for letting me serve You by Your might
Indeed melting my sin-hardened heart with Your truth and right
Ever subjecting me to Your light from pride’s height…
Thus, I can fully submit to You with serenity’s delight.
Thank You for letting me serve You by Your instruction
Indeed leading my steps to Your perfect will’s revelation
Ever driving me to learn from Your exhortation…
Thus, I can wisely choose Your ways for Your exaltation.
Thank You for letting me serve You by Your favour
Indeed accepting my offerings of sweet-smelling worship savour
Ever valuing me as Your follower with persistent fervour…
Thus, I can excellently give to You my best sacrifices with faith’s flavour.
Thank You for letting me serve You by Your standard
Indeed commending my accomplishment with heavenly reward
Ever warning me against wrong motives and hypocrisy’s regard…
Thus, I can righteously abide in Your ordinance-yard.
