My God, Thank You For Lavishing Me With Your Love

April 17 Scripture Meditations Based on Esther 1-3 Key Verse – Esther 2:17 And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight …
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR LAVISHING ME WITH YOUR LOVE Thank You for lavishing me with Your love, lighting me up with Your grace Surely making me obtain favour in Your sight, despite my sinfulness’ trace Indeed upholding my salvation by Your compassion’s brace Ever kind to accept my worshipful praise. Thank You for lavishing me with Your love, lifting me up with Your goodness Surely forgiving me of my admitted selfishness Indeed accepting my repentant earnestness Ever merciful to pardon my filthiness. Thank You for lavishing me with Your love, leading me with Your guidance Surely directing me toward Your deliverance Indeed guarding my decisions against ignorance Ever authoritative to subdue my arrogance. Thank You for lavishing me with Your love, loading me with Your generosity Surely providing me according to Your rich bounty Indeed meeting my needs to vanquish poverty and futility Ever magnanimous to fill my crisis or scarcity. Thank You for lavishing me with Your love, locking me with Your gripping Surely enclosing me inside Your care against fright-caused groping Indeed warming my spirit around Your revival’s wrapping Ever gentle to soothe my soul of painful hurt’s griping. Thank You for lavishing me with Your love, listening to me with Your glory Surely hearing me in my lamenting misery, as well as in my triumphant story Indeed attending to my prayer and confession expressing sorry and fury Ever timely to grant my expected faith-propped victory.
