MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR INVITING ME TO DINE WITH YOU
Thank You for inviting me to dine with You midst my doubt
Despite unbelief with ignorance-filled pout
To strengthen me along heavenly journey’s route
For my faith’s victory during spiritual righteousness-bout.
Thank You for inviting me to dine with You midst my discouragement
Despite distress with sorrow-afflicted predicament
To exhort me along cheerful revival’s enjoyment
For my soul’s gladness during depressive frustration-sentiment.
Thank You for inviting me to dine with You midst my denial
Despite hypocrisy with guilt-inflicted betrayal
To restore me along compassionate chastisements’ trial
For my heart’s repentance during sincere humility-portrayal.
Thank You for inviting me to dine with You midst my disobedience
Despite stubbornness with pride-triggered belligerence
To correct me along merciful discipline’s silence
For my attitudes’ conversion during effective transformation-insistence.
Thank You for inviting me to dine with You midst my delusion
Despite persecution with temptation-fueled vexation
To inspire me along fruitful faithfulness’ dedication
For my commitment’s steadfastness during critical downfall-reaction.
Thank You for inviting me to dine with You midst my disability
Despite weakness with inferiority-shielded infirmity
To guide me along ministerial services’ responsibility
For my zeal’s labour during persistent laziness-intensity.
Thank You for inviting me to dine with You midst my disturbance
Despite boredom with complacency-wrapped performance
To uphold me along warm fellowship’s endurance
For my supplication’s fervency during apathetic prayerlessness-arrogance.
