My God, Thank You For Instructing Me With Your Rebuke

June 20 Scripture Meditations Based on Proverbs 13 Key Verse – Proverbs 13:1 A wise son heareth his father’s instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR INSTRUCTING ME WITH YOUR REBUKE Thank You for instructing me with Your rebuke for my afflicting selfishness By Your loving kindness But also upholding me beyond stubbornness… Best of all, caring for me with Your goodness. Thank You for instructing me with Your rebuke for my vexing transgression By Your affirming transformation But also correcting me of my attitude’s corruption… Best of all, converting me with Your redemptive function. Thank You for instructing me with Your rebuke for my irritating iniquity By Your merciful authority But also controlling me despite my worldliness-caused infirmity… Best of all, ruling over me with Your sovereignty. Thank You for instructing me with Your rebuke for my humiliating arrogance By Your meekness-teaching assistance But also commending me in subduing defiance… Best of all, wrapping me around Your meekness-anchored deliverance. Thank You for instructing me with Your rebuke for my insulting unbelief By Your truthfulness that smites doubt and brings relief But also cheering me in my frustration’s grief… Best of all, asserting to me Your Word-wisdom as principally chief. Thank You for instructing me with Your rebuke for my debilitating motive By Your exposing directive But also fixing me up through acts, heavenly rehabilitative… Best of all, strengthening me with Your faith-empowerment so active.

Glad to read you are a spiritual person. Most people don't realize we need to confirm what God requires of us for our worship to be acceptable to him. Hope you agree. Well done.
