My God, Thank You For Instilling In Me Reverential Fear

July 8 Scripture Meditations Based on Proverbs 31 Key Verse – Proverbs 31:30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR INSTILLING IN ME REVERENTIAL FEAR Thank You for instilling in me reverential fear through Your holiness According to your justifying righteousness Despite my tendency toward sinfulness… Please forgive me of confessed filthiness. Thank You for instilling in me reverential fear through Your perfection According to your cleansing sanctification Despite my weakness toward corruption… Please correct me from committed abomination. Thank You for instilling in me reverential fear through Your wisdom According to your teaching freedom Despite my craving toward stardom… Please guard me against attacking boredom. Thank You for instilling in me reverential fear through Your light According to your illumining insight Despite my vision-deficiency toward blinking vanity-delight… Please direct me, checking any jeopardizing perspective-blight. Thank You for instilling in me reverential fear through Your deliverance According to your upholding salvation-assurance Despite my pride toward selfishness-annoyance… Please shield me against gripping carnal arrogance. Thank You for instilling in me reverential fear through Your leadership According to your loving redemption-relationship Despite my compromise toward worldly partnership… Please make me avoid alluring vain virtual friendship. Thank You for instilling in me reverential fear through Your mercy According to your faith-anchoring fervency Despite my doubts toward stewardship-leniency… Please help me overcome terrifying unbelief-persistency.
