My God, Thank You For Hearkening Unto My Voice

Key Verse – Joshua 10:14 And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR HEARKENING UNTO MY VOICE 

Thank You for hearkening unto my voice of trust 
That proceeds from my heart’s core and crust
Truly, I ask for Your help so compassionately just
To overcome attacking carnal lust.
	
Thank You for hearkening unto my voice of supplication 
That expresses my dependence on Your action
Truly, I lean on Your goodness-perfection
To go toward right direction.

Thank You for hearkening unto my voice of repentance 
That shows my grief devoid of rebellious resistance
Truly, I need Your ready assistance
To aspire for eternal importance.

Thank You for hearkening unto my voice of longing 
That exposes my frustrations over unmet goals along distress-bringing
Truly, I beg for Your upholding to which I am clinging
To move on despite failures’ ringing.

Thank You for hearkening unto my voice of despair 
That manifests my feelings of futility midst worthlessness’ stare
Truly, I entreat for Your revival for my spiritual welfare
To escape from worldliness’ destructive affair.

Thank You for hearkening unto my voice of surrender 
That exhibits my submission against being an arrogant pretender
Truly, I seek for Your approval along Your mercies so tender
To serve well with my best and utmost to render.
