Thank You for hearkening unto my voice of longing That exposes my frustrations over unmet goals along distress-bringing Truly, I beg for Your upholding to which I am clinging To move on despite failures’ ringing. Thank You for hearkening unto my voice of despair That manifests my feelings of futility midst worthlessness’ stare Truly, I entreat for Your revival for my spiritual welfare To escape from worldliness’ destructive affair.
