My God, Thank You For Hearing My Prayer

March 13 Scripture Meditations Based on 1Kings 9-12

Key Verse – 1Kings 9:3 And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR HEARING MY PRAYER Thank You for hearing my prayer and plea Please enable me to worship You with grateful glee As You teach me that from sin-corruption I flee--- Here am I learning from You so I can become what You want me to be. Thank You for hearing my prayer and request Please allow me to abide in Your will’s center and fullest As You lead me to Your fellowship’s nest--- Here am I striving to give You my very best. Thank You for hearing my prayer and need Please help me that from selfishness I’ll be fully freed As You love me with Your compassion constantly indeed--- Here am I anticipating for Your grant, devoid of greed. Thank You for hearing my prayer and supplication Please hallow me with Your sanctification As You keep me in Your instruction--- Here am I walking before You in the integrity of heart’s conviction. Thank You for hearing my prayer and concern Please rescue me from frustration and failure’s darts I can’t discern As You secure me against vain worldliness’ tavern-- Here am I cleaving to You around Your rules that govern. Thank You for hearing my prayer and care-groaning Please attend to me midst my confessed complaining As You assure me Your mercy’s bounty so well-meaning--- Here am I trusting You with faith, on Your promises firmly leaning.
