My God, Thank You For Finding Me

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR FINDING ME Thank You for finding me from sinfulness’ pit Against transgressions’ peril by Your salvation-writ To bring me toward biblical truth’s wit So that I can stay in Your will, spiritually lit. Thank You for finding me from worldliness’ entanglement Against humanism’s trap by Your redemption-settlement To carry me toward gracious provisions’ contentment So that I can value Your involvement for my commitment. Thank You for finding me from selfishness’ limelight Against stardom’s quest by Your sanctification-might To pull me toward heavenly kingdom’s height So that I can seek Your righteousness that lets my testimony to be bright. Thank You for finding me from pride’s tower Against haughtiness’ competition by Your calling power To drive me toward submissive trust’s corner So that I can surrender to Your plan, molding my virtuous manner. Thank You for finding me from hardship’s jungle Against struggles’ rigors by Your character-example To push me toward fervent prayerfulness’ mettle So that I can cling to Your strength making my faith to be able. Thank You for finding me from backsliding’s wilderness Against coldness’ death by Your revival-earnestness To keep me toward repentant heart’s blessedness So that I can turn to Your mercy, magnifying my gladness. Thank You for finding me from fruitlessness’ captivity Against barrenness’ misery by Your sufficiency-bounty To gear me toward diligent labour’s productivity So that I can glorify Your name, along my joyous sincerity.
