Constantly encouraging my heart against carnal portrayals
Toward Your favourable approvals.
Thank You for enabling me to keep Your commandments midst pressures
With Your comforting pleasures
Constantly helping my will against worldly seizures
Toward Your heavenly treasures.
Thank You for enabling me to keep Your commandments midst sorrows
With Your promising tomorrows
Constantly protecting my soul against evil arrows
Toward Your victorious furrows.
Thank You for enabling me to keep Your commandments midst horrors
With Your beautifying mirrors
Constantly guarding my steps against fearful rigors
Toward Your glorious honors.
Thank You for enabling me to keep Your commandments midst rampages
With Your anchoring divine adages
Constantly strengthening my faith against sinful damages
