My God, Thank You For Drawing Me Near You

July 13 Scripture Meditations Based on Song of Solomon 1-8 Key Verse – Song of Solomon 1:4 Draw me, we will run after thee …
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR DRAWING ME NEAR YOU Thank You for drawing me near You and to Your compassion With Your love’s direction along Your Word’s instruction From hatred’s bitter reaction against apathy’s cold intrusion Toward persevering devotion to prioritize Your great commission. Thank You for drawing me near You and to Your kindness With Your care’s cheerfulness along Your comfort’s gentleness From rudeness’ conceited indifference against unconcern’s critical madness Toward transforming goodness to show Your marvelous graciousness. Thank You for drawing me near You and to Your commitment With Your call’s appointment along Your charges’ reinforcement From idleness’ empty achievement against slothfulness’ vain accomplishment Toward strengthening diligence to work through Your empowerment. Thank You for drawing me near You and to Your mercy With Your help’s restoration along Your pardon’s clemency From negligence’s perilous result against offenses’ grievous deficiency Toward assisting dependence to trust Your sufficiency. Thank You for drawing me near You and to Your light With Your Scriptures’ guidance along Your truth’s might From darkness’ fearful night against hell’s torturous sight Toward illumining wisdom to shine with Your delight. Thank You for drawing me near You and to Your presence With Your salvation’s assurance along Your forgiveness’ license From condemnation’s fatal incense against wickedness’ destructive sense Toward rejuvenating revival to serve through Your divine iridescence.
